THis week we are expecting our benefactors, the Monteclaros, to come to Village and formalize our move to Full House.
Can hardly wait!
This is our room in the Dr. Howard Olive Educational Building in VBC... our little space where we study the Bible and have a little fun as well (that's Kuya Mark, 6th from right). While we're not actually leaving it (we'll still be here every Sunday!) it's kinda sad we'll be moving to a new base...but it's an exciting thing, too! Haaay...mixed emotions, don't you think? :)
Anyway, last September 15, we officially "came back" into the ministry after a two or three year hiatus (duh? um--vacation :D nosebleed!). This time we hope to stay (a permanent ministry!) to grow (more friends!) and to go (share Jesus everywhere!).
With that, we wanna share our purpose statement: "We yearn to follow Jesus example, accept others as members of God's family, help others with our gifts, offer our lives to God, and reach out to non-believers." YAHOO! for short.
And here's some moments from our first "Full House Fridays" (although we haven't really gone to Full House yet!) which we held in what's our first home--the Social Hall. Check this out!
Good attendance on our first FHF! Sayang lang, there were a lot who missed out on this historic event...not to mention really COOL sandwiches thanks to our chef and barista (who's not in the pic, we'll save her identity for later :)
Um, to show you how real good our sandwiches are, here's Shirley savoring the last bite... that's (from left) Joyce, Menchie, Lanie, and Ruth in the background.
...and (uhurm!) people just can't help enjoying the company of friends at Full House (ehem!)...that's Yogz and Venus having a cool chat (you guess which is who!)
